JAYNE LESSARD COACH

Jayne Lessard works with Leadership Systems doing both Executive and Career Coaching (jlessard@leadershipsystems.net). Jayne believes we are only successful when we build our lives around our natural abilities, interests, talents and motivational patterns. Jayne Lessard seeks to help her clients get in touch with their reservoir of untapped potential. Do you know what you do best? Are your talents and strengths going unrecognized? Are you reaching your fullest potential? These are just a few of the questions that Jayne Lessard would like to help you with.

Jayne also believes the earlier we learn what our gifts and aptitudes are the earlier we can begin to express them. Aptitudes and motivations stabilize around the age of 14 and they stay the same for the rest of our lives. Just as your basic temperament is predetermined, so are your aptitudes. The earlier a child knows and understands them, the earlier they can prepare for their education and career. As a Coach, Jayne works with students and young adults to help them find their aptitudes, strengths and motivations for learning and succeeding.

It is reported that only 13% of Americans find their work meaningful and 70% report their job does not make use of their talents. Jayne Lessard, Coach, enjoys helping people sort out what they are good at and what drives them. The more of your aptitude you use in what you do, the more you will find satisfaction and enjoyment in your career and life.

Jayne Lessard, Coach, believes it is wiser to invest your money finding these answers rather than floundering with your life direction and purpose later in life. She takes Clients through a number of inventories and tests to help identify and illuminate various aspects of personality, interest and motivation that play a key role in helping people learn more about themselves and their ultimate potential.

COUNSELING PROCESS

Jayne Lessard is devoted to helping individuals develop a treatment plan that best fits their needs and expectations. Jayne views her clients with compassion and understanding. She believes that we all have tendencies we don’t like, that are tempered by positive ones. Rather than deny or hide these tendencies (our dark side) therapy is a place where they can be acknowledged and explored. Rather than hide, run from or create defenses against these negative feelings therapy helps a person look beyond the symptoms to the core wounds and trauma that needs healing.

Jayne Lessard understands her clients’ needs may vary throughout their treatment. She seeks to help each client build on their natural strengths and build the essential skills necessary for coping, relationship building, emotional regulation and mood management.

Jayne Lessard has a very holistic approach as a counselor. Her therapeutic style is relatively direct. She often employs techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory and Interpersonal Theory. Although Jayne comes from a Christian worldview, she is open to working with clients who do not share her background.

Each session is 50 minutes in length. The cost of each session is $80.00. The method of payment can be cash, check or credit card. Fees for services are due at the beginning of each session. A fee of $80.00 will be charged for any appointment not cancelled 24 hours in advance. Although Jayne does not accept insurance, she will provide a “super bill” that clients can submit for partial or full reimbursement. Some health insurance companies will reimburse clients for counseling service and some will not.
